New Patient Calling System

We have recently had installed a new patient calling system which us a large televison screen. This will allow our clinicians to call their patients electronically thereby making the most efficient use of their time. This offers a better service to our patients whose name appears both on the screen and also called out using electronic voice recognition. Very occassionally the electronic voice mispronounces the name and we do apologise for this.

The new screen will also be used to display health information that we believe our patients will benefit from along with details of our services, such as the of Flu clinics – this should avoid the mass of posters cluttering up our newly decorated waiting room. We are in the process of learning how to do this.
